Mike Matusow Eliminated in 12th Place ($20,425)

Level 17 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 0 ante

Mike Matusow

Mike Matusow and Oscar Johansson were heads up on the first draw and both players took two. Matusow bet and Johansson called. Matusow stood pat on the next hand and bet after Johansson took one. Johansson raised and Matusow called to get to a third draw.

Both players stood pat and Matusow check-called a bet from Johansson. Johansson turned over 7x6x5x3x2x to beat the 7x6x5x4x2x and leave The Mouth with crumbs.

A few hands later, Matusow committed his last 30,000 from the button. Joao Vieira three-bet from the small blind and David "Bakes" Baker called from the big blind. Vieira took three and Baker took two before Matusow asked for two of his own. Vieira check-called a bet from Baker and all three players were still in for a second draw.

On the second draw, Vieira took two and both Baker and Matusow stood pat. Vieira check-folded a bet from Baker and both remaining players stood pat on the third draw.

Baker turned over 7x6x4x3x2x and Matusow flashed an eight-seven to send him out in 12th place for $20,425.
