Roger Franco open shoved his remaining 11 big-blinds from late position and was called by Jayce Palmer.
Roger Franco: A♥7♥
Jayce Palmer: Q♥Q♠
The board ran out K♥10♠5♣9♣6♥ leaving Franco unimproved and heading for the exit.
Katelin Koper's raise from middle position found Christopher Zenonos in the big blind who raised the bet up to 165,000. Koper soon four-bet to 350,000 and Zenonos called brewing a massive pot as both players see a flop of Q♥J♥2♥.
Despite the bold action pre-flop, this particular board had both players check through to a turn, the 10♥ now putting a four-flush on the board. Zenonos checked to Koper who open-jammed for her last 351,000. Zenonos called and the cards were tabled.
Katelin Koper: A♥A♠
Christopher Zenonos: A♣K♠
Both players out of their seats, the river could no longer save Zenonos against Koper's nut flush and left him with crumbs.
Dakota Britton raised to 24,000 in the hijack and Wissam Gahshan came along in the big blind.
The dealer spread a flop of K♠7♠4♦ and once checked to, Britton continued for 31,000 which was enough to drag the pot.
Barry Schultz raised to 30,000 from the hijack. Andrew Kagan on the button moved all in for his last 81,000 and Schultz called.
Andrew Kagan: 10♣9♣
Barry Schultz: J♥10♥
Kagan was in rough shape against a dominating hand. Unfortunately for him, it remained that way as the board ran out 2♥5♣Q♠3♠8♥ sending him home.
Christian Loucas had lost the majority of his chips when he and Brian Gatliff had pocket queens and Gatliff ran out a four-card flush to scoop the pot. Gatliff was kind enough to buy him a beverage though for the suck-out.
Loucas was right back in the action though as his last 90,000 in chips were at risk against Julien Perouse.
Christian Loucas: A♣7♣
Julien Perouse: K♥K♠
Loucas had run into a monster but the A♥Q♠Q♥ flop gave him the lead. The 5♦ landed on the turn and the A♠ on the river filled Loucas to a full house to remain in the tournament.
Rania Nasreddine raised the button to 25,000. Corey Bierria, a self-confessed non-believer, open-jammed for the rest of Nasreddine's stack to 240,000 from the big blind. Nasreddine snapped called and the hands were tabled.
Rania Nasreddine: K♦Q♦
Corey Bierria: 8♠6♠
The board ran out the K♥4♦9♠9♥4♠. Nasreddine's top pair was good for the full double-up.
Bierria was first to confess "I made a big oopsie".
Tournament chip leader Scott Wilson raised to 28,000 after an early position limp by Xavier Perez, who called the additional 16,000, and both players saw a flop of K♠3♠6♦.
Perez checked to Wilson who continued with a bet of 17,000, which Perez called. Perez checked the 6♥ turn over to Wilson who this time bet 70,000, and Perez once again called.
The 3♥ river double-paired the board and Perez checked to Wilson one last time. Wilson thought for a moment before announcing all-in and Perez quickly released his hand, allowing Wilson to add to his growing chip lead.
Stephen Bartlett raised under the gun to 27,000. Patrick White in the cutoff three-bet to 77,000 prompting Bartlett to jam for the remainder of his stack. White called and the cards were tabled.
Stephen Bartlett: J♣J♥
Patrick White: A♦A♠
The board ran out 2♥6♣7♠4♦5♦. No help for Bartlett as he's sent to the rail.
As retold by Ryan Tillmann, he opened under the gun to 24,000 and Michael Sabbia defended the big blind.
The dealer spread a flop of Qx9x8x and Sabbia check-called a bet of 22,000.
The 5x landed on the turn and Sabbia checked once again before facing a bet of 66,000. Sabbia eventually let his hand go and showed the Jx9x for a pair of nines. Tillmann tabled that he was playing his 6x6x extra aggressively as he raked in the pot.
