Tong drew two, while Rast took one.
Tong actually downgraded his hand, ending up with 6x6x5x4x2x, while Rast drew an ace, giving him Ax8x7x5x3x.
Both players checked and Rast's ace gave him a few more chips.
No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw
Down to 775,000, Talal Shakerchi pushed all-in with the Ax9x8x8x2x from under the gun and it folded to James Obst in the big blind. Obst had a sub par QxJxJx5x3x and reluctantly folded.
Kristopher Tong then raised to 375,000 with the Kx9x8x3x2x and earned folds all around.
Shakerchi jammed the 10x9x9x4x2x next for the same amount and Matthew Ashton asked for a count with the JxJx8x5x3x. Ashton called drew two while Shakerchi only tossed one of the nines.
Shakerchi paired his four but Ashton received a queen and paired the eight for Shakerchi to double.

James Obst raised in the cutoff with A♥4♥ and got three-bet by a short-stacked Talal Shakerchi on the button with 10♠10♣. Obst called to see a A♣K♥Q♦ flop, giving him top pair.
Obst checked to Shakerchi, who bet, and the Australian star came back with a check-raise. Shakerchi peeled, leaving himself just 475,000 chips.
On the 6♣ turn Obst bet and Shakerchi now folded, preserving his now very small stack.
Limit Hold 'em
Talal Shakerchi raised on the button with Q♣9♠ and ran into a three-bet from Brian Rast in the small blind who held K♣K♠. Shakerchi called to see what would be a troublesome flop.
It came J♣9♥2♣, and Shakerchi called a bet from Rast to see the J♦ fall on the turn. That card would cost Shakerchi more chips, as he called another bet from Rast.
On the 10♣ river, Rast continued firing, getting one final call from Shakerchi, whose two pair fell to Rast's superior two pair.
With the win, Rast now has nearly half the chips in play.

After a raise by Kristopher Tong in the cutoff with 3♦3♥, Brian Rast defended his big blind with 10♣9♠.
The flop came 10♠9♦5♦, and Rast check-raised a bet from Tong.
Tong peeled, and the K♣ fell on the turn. Rast bet and got another call from a disbelieving Tong.
On the Q♥ river, Rast checked, as did Tong, with Rast then showing his winning two pair to add to his lead.

Brian Rast raised the pot to 350,000 with the A♦Q♦7♥2♠ and James Obst called with the A♣J♦8♣4♦ out of the big blind. The A♠7♦5♥ flop gave Obst the top pair and gutshot while Rast had the top two pair. Obst checked and Rast bet 800,000 to send his opponent into the tank.
Obst reluctantly folded and Rast raked in another pot.
Pot-Limit Omaha
Matthew Ashton rasied on the button with A♥A♣7♥2♦, and got three-bet to 1,100,000 by James Obst in the small blind with A♠J♣6♦5♠.
Ashton stood and peered over the table at Obst's stack before re-potting to 3,350,000.
Obst folded his hand and sent a million plus chips across the table to Ashton.

On sixth, Tong check-called a bet and then bet seventh for Rast to call. The seven-five of Tong was no good as Rast made a six.
