Chris Moneymaker was recently seen leaving the table, with "The Tournamen-ator" as he told PokerNews, Dan cates, gathering his chips.
As told by the players at the table, on a flop of 4♦3♥A♦, action was checked to Daniel Alaei in late position who bet 12,000. Dan Cates called on the button and then Chris Moneymaker check-raised to 50,000 from the small blind.
Alaei folded, but Cates then back-raised all in and Moneymaker called off.

Both players had flush draws with Cates holding the better one, but Moneymaker picked up a pair on the 9♥ turn. Cates was bailed out on the river, though, as the 7♦ hit, giving both players a flush, with Cates holding the winning one.
