Talal Shakerchi raised from under the gun and James Obst three-bet for Shakerchi to call. On the 874 flop, Shakerchi check-called a bet before they checked down the 4 turn and 8 river. Shakerchi's AKJ10 earned one quarter of the pot while Obst received three quarters with the AK95.

One hand later, Hal Rotholz opened with a raise and called the three-bet of Josh Arieh in the cutoff. Rotholz led the K43 flop to earn a call and then check-called Arieh's bet on the 9 turn. Rotholz bet the 5 river and Arieh sigh-folded.

Arieh called, then check-called a bet himself on sixth after taking the betting lead.

After checking seventh, Arieh faced another bet from Ashton, which after some deliberation he opted to fold, sending a big pot to Ashton to move him to near the top of the chip counts.
