Kostly Turn for Yanovski

Level 24 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo

PokerNews heard yelling from across the room and rushed over to try and catch the action. Thankfully, Leonid Yanovski was there to relay what had happened.

Leonid Yanovski raised and quickly saw Nick Kost three-bet pot. Yanovski called and the flop came 5x7x9x rainbow.

All the money went in on the flop and both players turned their cards up prepared to watch two cards peel off.

Leonid Yanovski: Ax8x6x2x
Nick Kost: AxJx8x2x

Kost needed help with well over a million chips in the middle and that help wasted no time materializing in the form of a 10x hitting the turn to give him the nut straight.

Yanovski would need a card to give him a low just to recoup a quarter of the pot but when a Kx fell on the river, Yanovski was sent to the rail as Kost rocketed up the chip counts.
