Meadors Goes Runner-Runner to Take Pot

Level 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

With 11,000 in the middle, three players got to the river with the board showing K1042A. David Meadors bet 3,500 on the button and got the middle position player to fold.

The cutoff mulled it over for a few seconds before making the call. Meadors turned over Q8 for the second nut flush, while the frustrated cutoff tabled K2 for a cracked two pair.

Maudlin Makes a Move

Level 3 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

The under-the-gun player bet 600 and was called by early position, middle position, hijack, David Maudlin in the small blind, and the big blind.

All six players checked the A95 flop, but Maudlin bet 1,700 on the 3 turn which was only called by the under-the-gun player.

The 6 completed the board and Maudlin bet 3,200. This was too much for the under-the-gun player, who folded and Maudlin dragged in the pot.
