James Clarke on the button weighed up all the possible decisions and opted to make the call.

Amin Mostafavi raised in early position to 220,000. Christopher Stevens in the cutoff three-bet to 600,00. Mostafavi retaliated with a four-bet to 1,320,000 and Stevens five-bet all in for the rest. Mostafavi called and the hand went to a showdown.

The board ran out 3♠8♠10♥3♣7♦. This cold deck landed in the favour of Mostafavi as he found a huge double up.

Eng Puts the Pressure On

On a flop of 2♥10♠5♥, Gordon Eng in the cutoff, bet 265,000. Lukas Omlid on the button, called.

The turn was the 6♦. Eng bet again, making it 550,000 to go. Omlid went into the tank for a couple of minutes before making the call.

The river came K♠ and Eng fired a third barrel, betting 1,300,000. Omlid thought for another couple of minutes, this time finding a fold.

Freeman Flopped Big

Two players remained as they looked at a pot of 450,000 and a board that read 5♠9♣6♣. Pavel Chalupka bet out from the big blind for 145,000 and William Freeman, who was under the gun, called.

The 4♥ fell on the turn and Chalupka slowed down. Freeman took the lead with a jam for 440,000 and Chalupka folded.

Freeman showed 9♦9♥ for top set.

All the chips went into the middle preflop with under-the-gun David Thompson all in for 885,000 was at risk against Mojtaba Khorsandi in the hijack.

The ultimate cooler as Khorsandi's kings ran into Thompson's aces. The low board of 6♥6♣3♠2♠7♠ was no use for Khorsandi leaving them super short and Thompson took in the massive pot.

Cloninger Wins Without a Showdown

Victor Ramdin opened from under the gun to 160,000, Jiaqi Xu in the hijack called and Loren Cloninger in the big blind defended.

They went three-ways to a flop of K♥J♠7♥. The action was checked to Xu who bet out for 245,000. Only Cloninger called.

The Q♣ turn checked through to the 8♠ on the river. Cloninger took the lead for 335,000 which was enough to force a fold from Xu.

Action folded to Ron Fetsch in the cutoff who put out a bet of 150,000. Next to act was Gordon Eng on the button who made the call and the blinds folded.

The 8♦3♥9♠ flop landed and Fetsch continued for 175,000. Eng called and they were off to a turn.

The J♥ landed and Fetsch slowed down and checked. Eng immediately put out a bet of 450,000. Fetsch went into the tank but eventually made the fold.

"I'll show if you show" Eng remarked before mucking. Fetsch agreed and showed A♦Q♥ for just ace high and Eng showed 8♣8♠ for a flopped middle set.
