Preflop action opened with Peng Shan calling the big blind with A♠10♦8♠3♦. Lou Garza also came along from the small blind with K♥10♠9♠9♥, and Stanislav Halatenko checked his option with A♥Q♠8♦3♣.
The flop came 2♥4♦A♣, and Garza checked. Halatenko fired a bet of 300,000. Shan then raised to 800,000, forcing a fold from Garza. Halatenko made the call.
The 10♣ hit the turn, pairing the only differentiating card between the two remaining players. Halatenko checked, and Shan put 950,000 forward. Halatenko considered for a moment before folding.
