Chi He Finds a Double Up on the River
Level 27
: Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
In a blind versus blind pot, all the chips went in the middle preflop between Zong Chi He, at risk for a stack worth 730,000, and against Rafael Gonzalez's bigger stack.
Zong Chi He: Q♦4♦
Rafael Gonzalez: K♦8♠
Hi Che was in terrible shape for a double up when the flop showed 8♦4♠A♥, giving a pair of eights to Gonzalez, but the 2♦ and the A♦ completed the board to give a runner-runner flush to Hi Che and the needed double-up.
