In a heads-up pot, the board already showed 4♠6♦5♠6♥ when Maurice Hawkins bet 700 and his opponent called.
The 3♣ completed the board and this time Hawkins sent 5,400 in the middle. His opponent quickly called, showing K♠K♣, only to see the bad news with 2♠2♦ in Hawkins' hand for the straight.
In a heads-up pot with around 5,000 in the middle, the board was 4♥6♠4♠8♠ when Sarah Herzali tanked in the hijack before betting 2,100. Her opponent called in the cutoff.
The 5♠ river brought another spade on the board and this time both players checked. The cutoff tabled J♠10♠ for the flush and Herzali quickly mucked her hand.
A player opened to 800 from early position and was called by Harry Lodge on the button and by the big blind.
The flop came 10♥J♣2♠ and the player who opened continued with a bet of 1,400. Lodge called and the big blind folded.
On the turn 4♥, Lodge called once again, this time a 3,100 bet. On the river 3♥, he just checked back and mucked his cards when his opponent showed K♣J♦ for a pair of jacks.
All the chips went in the middle preflop between Pete Fox, at risk for his last 17,400 and Q♠Q♥ in his hands and his opponent who held A♥A♦.
Fox was in desperate shape for his tournament's life but found a lucky board Q♣8♣J♥5♣4♠, giving him a set of queens on the flop and the needed double up.

At WSOP Main Event Champion Damian Salas' table, a player in early position raised to 1,000. Seated on his left, Oscar Carrasco raised to 3,000. The button moved all in for 14,100 chips. The blinds folded, as well as the initial raiser. Carrasco eventually called.

"You have the spades anyway," said the player at risk on 2♠J♠10♠. He stood up at this point. Even if the turn 10♦ and the river 6♣ didn't complete the flush, Carrasco's aces stayed ahead, leading to his opponent's elimination.
Michael Gonzalez raised to 800 in early position and Jeff Platt three-bet to 1,800 on the button. The big blind player four-bet to 2,800 and Gonzalez didn't take long to five-bet to 8,800. Platt announced all in, covering his two opponents and the big blind let it go.

A player opened in middle position to 800 and picked up calls from the hijack and Vy Nguyen in the cutoff to see a paired flop of A♠7♠A♥. The middle position continued for 1,100, only called by Nguyen.
The Q♠ hit the turn and this time the middle position check-called Nguyen for 3,000. Both checked on the 5♣ river and Nguyen flipped over A♣9♣ for trips to claim the pot as his opponent quickly showed K♠Q♠.
