At Katie Lindsay's table, the player under the gun opened to 1,200 and got called three times: by Ryan Laplante in early position, by the cutoff, and by the big blind.
On 5♦9♣7♠, the first two players to act checked to Laplante, who bet 5,000. The cutoff called, and all other players in the pot folded.
The 8♠ landed on the turn, and this time, it was the cutoff who bet 7,000. Laplante checked and called to see the Q♦ on the river. He checked once again on this last street, and the cutoff checked back.
"Set," said Laplante, revealing 5♣5♠. Hearing that, the cutoff threw his cards into the muck and saw the pot going into Laplante's hands.
It folded to the button who bet 1,300 and got called by Joon Ya in the small blind and the big blind.
The flop revealed 8♠K♠6♥ and the button continued for 1,500 after it was checked to him. Ya raised to to 6,000 and his opponents quickly folded.
