Craig Chait, runner-up in this event last year, was all in preflop as Thomas Taylor in the hijack and another opponent in the cutoff built a side pot heading to the 3♦Q♣5♥ flop.

The cutoff bet and Taylor called. The turn came the 4♣ and Taylor now led out with a bet. His opponent called, then folded to another bet by Taylor on the K♣ river.

Taylor turned over 5♠5♣ for the flopped set. "You're good," Chait said as he tossed his 10♦9♦ into the muck before heading for the exit.

Reigning PPC champion Brian Rast's seat at this table is also unoccupied, and he has also hit the rail on Day 1.
