: Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
In a heads-up pot between the blinds, Nick Schulman checked on the flop of 5♦Q♦10♠ and Cary Katz bet 19,000. Schulman check-raised for most of his stack and Katz three-bet to put the recent Seven Card Stud Championship winner at risk. Schulman called.
Nick Schulman: K♦J♣7♦5♥
Cary Katz: K♥Q♣J♦9♠
"I'm in bad shape," Katz said despite having the best hand as the 2♦ landed on the turn.
"Now you're in really bad shape," Schulman said after making the flush before the A♥ river earned him the double.
"You run so f***ing pure," Katz said to Schulman as the four-time bracelet winner raked in the pot.
