Ace High For Nozomu

Level 6 : Limits 1,000/2,000, 0 ante

Quite new in the field, Shimizu Nozomu raised it up from under the gun and was only called by Moshe Gavrieli in the small blind.

On the flop 8Q5, Nozomu continued betting. But Gavrieli didn't give up. Then, the 9 came on the turn, but the action slowed down at this point as both players checked.

And when the river 4 appeared on the table, Gavrieli took the lead. Nozomu waited a few seconds to check his cards and think about his decision, and called with AK.

Gavrieli had 107 for a missed straight draw and left the pot to Nozomu, who is looking for a third WSOP final table this summer.

Glaser Dodges Ma's Combo Draw

Level 7 : Limits 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

In a three-bet pot, three players went to the flop of KJ8. Benny Glaser was the first to throw in a bet from the big blind and Yi Ma called in the cutoff.

The turn was the 7 and Glaser slowed down with a check. Ma took a turn betting and Glaser called to see the 7 on the river. Both players tapped the table and Glaser turned over AJ. Ma flashed his A10 after missing his straight and flush draws, allowing Glaser to take the pot.

Centano Saves Himself From Elimination

Level 7 : Limits 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

After the player under the gun opened, John Cenato in the cutoff three-bet. The button called, as well as the initial raiser.

The dealer fanned a flop of 6AJ. Centano continued to bet, and was called only once, by the cutoff.

On the turn 10, Cenato bet again, and his opponent called. And when the river 2 came, Cenato moved all in for his last 500 chips. The cutoff called but let his hand go when Cenato revealed AK.

Players at the table played another hand right after, before the table broke.

Turkzadeh Puts a Dent in Chanthabouasy

Level 7 : Limits 1,200/2,400, 0 ante

Steve Chanthabouasy raised it up from under the gun and was called by both of the blinds. The flop came 1075 and the action checked around to the A on the turn.

Both of the blinds checked again and Chanthabouasy flicked in a bet. The small blind called and Amir Turkzadeh check-raised from the big blind. Both Chanthabouasy and the small blind stuck around for the 8 on the river.

The small blind checked again and Turkzadeh tossed in a bet. Chanthabouasy thought for a minute before finally dumping his cards to the muck and the small blind followed suit.
