Negreanu Takes Chips From Ausmus

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

On a flop of 6J4, Daniel Negreanu bet 15,000 from the big blind. Action folded to Jeremy Ausmus, who had just moved to the table — and he called in the cut-off.

The turn came 2 and both players checked. The river was the J and Negreanu put out an 8,000 blocker bet.

Ausmus called, Negreanu showed A744 and Ausmus mucked. Negreanu laughed, "I would have had to call a raise"

Big Hand Before Break

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Fernando Habegger, better known for as Jnandez, placed a bet of 140,000 into an already bloated pot on a board that read JK8J9x.

Martin Zamini thought a while and asked, "If I made the wrong choice here will you feature it on your training site?"

A consumate professional, Habegger responded with, "You will make the wrong decision either way."

"You think so?..." After looking back at his hand twice, Zamani decided to fold and did his best to coax Habegger to show his hand.

Harder Soars Up The Leaderboard

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

In a heads-up pot with close to 50,000 in the middle on a flop of Q88, Christian Harder checked from under the gun to a player in the hijack who continued for 20,000. Harder made the call and the pair saw the 10 turn.

Harder elected to lead out for 24,000 and the hijack quickly tossed in chips for the call. The 3 completed the board and Harder announced all in, well covering the 79,000 remaining for his opponent, who went deep in the tank.

After close to two minutes of thought, the hijack made the call and the cards were shown. Harder tabled A973 for the nut flush and the hijack revealed KQJ9 for a straight, as he made his way to the exit.
