James Martini in the small blind min-raised which was enough to put Mark Dunbar in the big blind all in. Dunbar was at risk for 60,000.
Mark Dunbar: 6♥2♦
James Martini: Q♦Q♠
Dunbar had little chance against Martini's ladies, especially when the all-spade board of A♠6♠5♠7♠9♠ gave Martini the best flush. Martini is among the chip leaders.
Brendan Byrne was all in for around 300,000 from the button and up against big blind Robert Damelian.
Brendan Byrne: A♥Q♦
Robert Damelian: A♣7♣
Damelian was dominated but picked up a flush draw on the 9♣4♣10♥ flop. The J♣ on the turn completed his flush and left Byrne drawing dead heading to the 7♠ river and off to collect his payout.
Mark Dunbar bet 150,000 from middle position and was met with a shove of 855,000 from David Icke in the hijack. Dunbar made the call and barely covered Icke.
David Icke: 9♦9♣
Mark Dunbar: K♣10♣
Icke was ahead and still was after the board of J♠3♣2♣2♠5♠ and doubled up. Dunbar was left with three big blinds.
Three-handed on a flop of 3♠6♣J♠, Mark Gerecke bet 300,000 from early position and James Martini called on the button.
The turn came the 6♦ and Gerecke now checked. Martini bet 300,000 and Gerecke responded by moving all in for 800,000. Martini snap-called.
Martini turned over K♣J♣ but was behind Gerecke's Q♥Q♣. The river, though, came the J♦ and Martini made a full house to send a stunned Gerecke to the rail.
Jeffrey Yarchever moved all in for 300,000 on the button and small blind Kevin Durgin called to put him at risk.
Jeffrey Yarchever: Q♦8♦
Kevin Durgin: A♦5♦
Yarchever remained behind on the 5♥7♦7♠ flop, but spiked the 8♠ on the turn to take the lead. The river came the J♠ and Yarchever doubled up.
"I'm hard to kill. Always have been," Yarchever said as he and Durgin shared a laugh following the hand.
Four players went to a flop of A♠10♥10♠ with already around 600,000 in the middle as action checked to Ronald Swain on the button.
Swain bet 200,000 and Kevin Danko called in the small blind, as did Rassoul Malboubi in the big blind.
The turn came the 8♣ and Danko and Malboubi checked again. Swain now fired out 500,000.
Danko tanked for several minutes before he folded. Malboubi then took his time before he also folded.
