Level 28 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Tamar Abraham
Tamar Abraham

With three players involved on a board 8K39 with a pot containing 1,800,000, Shiina Okamoto checked in the big blind with 33 for a set of threes. Tara Cain checked behind with A6 and Tamar Abraham bet 450,000 on the button, holding 88 for a set of eights.

Okamoto took a minute and raised it to 1,600,000. Cain let it go but Abraham shoved for a remaining stack of 4,240,000 and Okamoto snap-called to see the bad news.

The J river didn't change anything and Okamoto conceded to big double up to Abraham.

Shiina Okamoto raised to 250,000 from under the gun, holding 88, and it folded to Tamar Abraham in the small who decided to just call with AK.

The flop brought top two pair to Abraham with 2AK and she decided to check-call Okamoto's continuation for 375,000.

The turn fell the 6 and Abraham checked gain. Okamoto sent a second barrel for 900,000 this time and Abraham just called once more.

The 10 landed on the river and Abraham thought about her move for some time before checking. Okamoto fired 2,800,000 in the middle and Abraham replied by shoving for 6,325,000.

Okamoto didn't take long to fold and Abraham climbed to a big chiplead.

Tara Cain

Shiina Okamoto opened in the cutoff to 250,000 with KJ and Tara Cain saw KK in her hands in the small blind and just called. Tamar Abraham three-bet to 720,000 in the big blind, holding AQ and it folded back to Cain who announced all in for a total stack worth 1,545,000.

After some thinking, Abraham made the call to see she had the dominated hand.

The board brought some hopes for a double to cain with 6989, but an A showed up on the river to give the win to Abraham and bust Cain.

Cain, who finished in 6th place of the WSOP Ladies Event in 2018, has now accomplished another deep run with a 5th place finish for a prize of $34,679.

It was a limped pot for the first time in a while where Shiina Okamoto was on the button and Tamar Abraham was on the big blind.

The flop came down 2105 and Abraham checked and Okamoto bet 200,000 and Abraham hit the aggression button and raised to 800,000. Okamoto made the call with the shorter stack.

The turn brought the Q and Abraham left the betting to Okamoto who announced, "All in" and Abraham quickly called and slammed her chips down.

Shiina Okamoto: 54
Tamar Abraham: 103

Okamoto was in bad shape heading to the river with only four outs. The river brought the 6 and Abraham won with flush.
