Foxen Finally Takes a Hit
Level 13
: Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Alex Foxen was seemingly unstoppable yesterday in taking the chip lead, but his massive stack was just reduced a bit at the hands of Kane Kalas.
Kalas bet 39,000 on a flop of 5♥3♥3♣ before Foxen, in the hijack, raised enough to put him all in. Kalas called for his last 160,000.
Kane Kalas: K♥K♦J♥J♠
Alex Foxen: Q♣Q♥7♦5♣
Kalas was ahead with his pair of kings and stayed in front on the 8♥ turn and 9♣ river to double up with a flush and put a small dent in Foxen's wall of chiips.
