Rajamurthy Hits the Turn on Mermelstein
Level 15
: Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Krasimir Yankov bet 105,000 from the cutoff on a flop of 2♦A♣5♣ before Kabeelan Rajamurthy in the small blind raised to 350,000.
Aaron Mermelstein then moved all in for around 420,000. "Is this play money," tablemate Pakinai Lisawad said as Yankov tanked for more than a minute before letting his hand go. Rajamurthy called Mermelstein's all-in bet.
Aaron Mermelstein: 7♠4♥3♠3♥
Kabeelan Rajamurthy: A♠J♣9♣2♠
Mermelstein had flopped a straight, while Rajamurthy was on a flush draw that came in on the 7♣ turn. Mermelstein was already drawing dead as the J♥ fell on the river.
