Ian Matakis Eliminated in 9th Place ($199,275)
Level 26
: Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
On the first hand of the final table, Jonas Kronwitter raised to 650,000 from under the gun and Jesse Lonis called in the cutoff. Ian Matakis then moved all in from the small blind for 975,000 and both opponents called.
Lonis and Kronwitter checked down the 8♦9♥6♦4♠4♦ board. "Ace-four," Lonis said, opening up A♦K♣4♣2♥. Kronwitter mucked and Matakis showed Q♥Q♦10♠10♣ before making his exit as the first casualty of the final table.
