Schwartz Doubles "For the Fans"

Level 20 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Jim Collopy raised to 240,000 in the cutoff and the action folded to Noah Schwartz in the big blind. Having paid the big blind ante, he only had 375,000 behind.

"That's what, only four or five blinds?" he uttered while staring at the screens before then adding "write this one down for the fans ... and my backers" before moving all-in, Collopy snap-called.

Noah Schwartz: K10103
Jim Collopy: AK54

The board ran out 94276 and Schwartz doubled.

Collopy Can No Longer Win

Level 20 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Jim Collopy
Jim Collopy

Jim Collopy open-raised to 280,000 and Jesse Lonis made the call. On a flop of 374, Collopy committed the rest of his 300,000 or so chips and Lonis looked him up.

Jim Collopy: AKQ6
Jesse Lonis: A1085

Collopy was somehow still ahead with his ace-king high, and would remain so when both players paired on the A turn. The 5 river gave only Lonis two pair, however, and it cemented Collopy's fate as the latest exit.

Loeffler's Light Extinguished by Park

Level 21 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Kilian Loeffler was all in for 480,000 and up against James Park.

Kilian Loeffler: AQJ4
James Park: KK107

Loeffler needed to improve against Park's kings but found no help on the J7955 board.

"See you in Korea," the affable Loeffler told his now-former tablemates on his way to the rail.

"He was a lot of fun to play with. I'm looking forward to that trip. It's a non-wives trip," tablemate Aaron Katz said after Loeffler departed.

Noah Schwartz Eliminated in 24th Place ($90,206)

Level 20 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Noah Schwartz
Noah Schwartz

All tables were to finish their current hands after the elimination of Kilian Loeffler and that brought another all-in and call with Noah Schwartz at risk against Elias Harala after he had potted off a short stack and Harala raised.

Noah Schwartz: KJJ9
Elias Harala: AQ1010

"That's a fair fight," they said at the table but Schwartz instantly said "not so fair anymore" on the 1098 flop when Harala made top set. Schwartz had outs to a straight but was left drawing dead on the 10 turn to make the 3 river a formality.

PJ Cha Eliminated in 23rd Place ($96,649)

Level 21 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
PJ Cha
PJ Cha

PJ Cha raised to 330,000 in the hijack, leaving just one chip behind, as action folded to Eelis Parssinen in the big blind who called after a brief tank.

The flop came 6JK and Cha threw in his last chip after Parssinen led out with a bet.

PJ Cha: AQ107
Eelis Parssinen: Q632

Parssinen was narrowly ahead with a pair of sixes while Cha had straight draws. The 3 turn helped neither player, and Parssinen made trips on the 6 river to send Cha out in 23rd place.

[Removed:508] Eliminated in 22nd Place ($96,649)

Level 21 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

[Removed:508] raised to 250,000 from middle position and received a call from big stack Jesse Lonis. The flop fell 1098 and the rest of Crivello's chips went into the middle, looked up by Lonis.

[Removed:508]: 8764
Jesse Lonis: QJJ6

Both players flopped a straight, but Lonis had the nuts while Crivello only had the bottom end. With only a runner-runner outs as an option to survive, the board bricked out and Crivello was eliminated.

Kronwitter Takes It on the Turn

Level 21 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

After several raise-and-take-it hands on all tables, Jonas Kronwitter opened to 250,000 from under the gun. Elias Harala in the small blind and James Park in the big blind called.

The trio checked the KQ4 flop and the 7 followed on the turn. It checked to Kronwitter and his pot-sized bet of 850,000 resulted in two instant folds.

Lonis Lays It Down

Level 21 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Jesse Lonis had just lost a pot when he open-raised to 300,000 from the cutoff. Isaac Haxton was in the small blind and made a three-bet to 1,000,000, which Lonis called.

The flop was 582 and Haxton pushed all in for 1,420,000 chips. Before the dealer could finish counting Haxton's stack, however, Lonis made the fold and chipped down some more.
