Adam Hendrix raised to 200,000 from the cutoff, then called when small blind Tyler Brown shoved for 320,000.
Tyler Brown: A♥5♥3♦3♣
Adam Hendrix: K♥J♦6♥6♦
Hendrix paired his jack on the J♣2♣3♥ flop, but Brown made a set of threes to take a firm hold of the pot. The board ran out 7♦9♠ and Brown doubled up.
Fans are welcome to come to celebrate the life of the late poker legend Doyle Brunson at Horseshoe Las Vegas on July 2 at 11:30 a.m.
Many high-profile poker players will speak at the memorial, which will take place inside the Jubilee Theater near the Horseshoe poker room, about a two-minute walk from the World Series of Poker (WSOP) tournament area.
Brunson, a 10-time WSOP bracelet winner and 1988 Poker Hall of Fame inductee, passed away last month at 89. He left behind quite a legacy in poker and will forever be remembered as one of the all-time greats.
Some former Brunson opponents and long-time friends such Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, and Dewey Tomko will speak at the event. Jack Binion, former owner of Binion's Horseshoe, the original site of the WSOP, will also give a speech.
After a raise and a call preflop, there was a flop of K♦Q♦2♠ dealt in a pot between Danny Hannawa and [Removed:422]. All of the chips went in the middle and it was Soyirgaz that was at risk.
[Removed:422]: Q♥Q♣10♥10♦
Danny Hannawa: A♦J♣6♥3♦
Soyirgaz had flopped middle set while Hannawa was hoping that his flush or straight draw would come in.
The 5♥ turn brought some more outs for Hannawa with a wheel draw, and the 9♦ confirmed Soyirgaz's status as the bubble boy. With the nut flush, Hannawa eliminated Soyirgaz in 31st place and he was the last player to leave without any cash.
All 30 remaining players will now take home at least $82,474 as play continues on Day 2.
Heads-up on a flop of A♠8♥5♦, Tyler Smith bet 200,000 from the small blind and James Obst called on the button.
The turn came the 4♥ and Smith led out for another 500,000. Obst again called and the 10♣ fell on the river.
Smith now announced pot, pushing forward a bet of 1,725,000 that easily covered Obst's remaining stack. Obst spent more than a minute in the tank and burned through his time bank card before he called for his last chips.
Smith turned over Q♠10♥7♥6♦ for the nut straight and Obst went to muck as he made his exit. The dealer retrieved his cards and exposed A♥Q♥7♦5♠ long after Obst had already left the table.

On the tail end of a heads-up pot to the 9♥8♥7♦2♣7♥ river, Elias Harala bet 600,000 into a pot of around 1,000,000 from an early position. Jonas Kronwitter on the button went into the tank and used three time bank extensions before folding.
"Show the bluff," fellow Finnish player Elias Pärssinen demanded but Harala just raked in the pot with a smile on the face.
Anthony Marsico got his 550,000 chips in preflop and [Removed:422] was the one to look him up.
Anthony Marsico: K♥K♣Q♠4♦
[Removed:422]: A♦A♣6♦4♠
It was looking grim for Marsico, but the J♣10♦J♠ flop gave him some hope in the form of an open-ender. The turn 6♠ did nothing for him, but the river 9♣ granted him the straight and the winner.
He doubled up and yelled "Let's go, baby!" as hand-for-hand plays continues.
Elias Harala raised it up and then folded to a pot-sized three-bet by Isaac Haxton.
The next raise by Harala was called by Jared Bleznick in the big blind as they headed to the J♣8♠7♣ flop. Bleznick check-called for 150,000 and both then checked it down. Bleznick tabled his K♠J♥10♥8♦ for jacks and eights, which won the pot.
