Gevorgyan Hits Straight Flush at the River

With 44,000 in the middle on the completed board of 733J6, Harutyun Gevorgyan moved all in for 44,400 from the small blind and was called by early position.

The early position player tabled KK for two pair, but Gevorgyan turned over 54 for the straight flush to take a massive pot.

Ottenio's Aggression Pays Off

The button raised to 2,200 and received a call from both blinds.

The flop came 74Q, and both blinds were quick to check. The button led out for 2,500 and the small blind called. Federico Ottenio raised to 6,000 from the big blind and received calls from both players.

While the 4 peeled off on the turn, the small blind checked to Ottenio. He fired for 7,000, and both players called to the river.

The river was the 9 and the small blind checked. Ottenio bet 15,000 and both players folded for him to scoop the pot.

Shifrel Takes Huge Pot to Triple Up

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

PokerNews arrived at the table as the pot was awarded to David Shifrel in the big blind.

The board was showing 109273 and all of the money went in on the flop with Shifrel at risk for 48,200. Shifrel tabled 22 for a flopped set of deuces which cracked the cutoff's AA and the small blind missed their open-ender with QJ.

The cutoff received a small side-pot, while the small blind's stack was decimated.

Under the gun jammed all in for 8,000, and Brendan Baksh made the call from late position. Both players revealed their hands.
