Semeghini Empties the Clip

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Action folded to Rodrigo Semeghini in the small blind who raised to 48,000. Daniel Negreanu called from the big blind to see the flop come QK6.

Semeghini continued with a bet of 75,000. Negreanu looked at his opponent before grabbing three 25,000 and tossing in the call to bring the 8 out on the turn.

Semeghini led with a bet again, this time for 140,000 and again, Negreanu thought briefly before he tossed in the call to see the 5 fall on the river.

Semeghini didn't waste much time in announcing all in for roughly 360,000.

Negreanu didn't immediately release his hand, instead going into a short tank and talking out what he believed Semeghini had to Semeghini himself who tried to remained stoic.

Eventually, Negreanu arrived at the belief that Semeghini had the nut flush "for reason that I won't share" before he slid his cards into the muck while saying, "Nice bluff".

Semeghini's emptying the chamber on three straight post-flop streets paid off as he collected the pot and chipped up nicely.

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Action folded to Qing Liang on the button who raised to 40,000 and got called by Andreas Zampas in the big blind leading to a KJK flop.

Both players checked through to see the J hit the turn and action checked through once more to see the K fall on the river.

Zampas checked to Liang who counted out a bet of 65,000. Zampas entered what became about a 3 minute tank, seemingly working through if his hand was a candidate to bluff catch.

After counting out calling chips and checking his cards once more, he decided to toss his cards toward the muck and said, "Show the bluff".

Liang checked his card, pulled one out and tabled the 9 before dragging in the pot.

Manzano Gets Another Bounty

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

A short-stacked Jon Stanfield went all in over the top of Alex Manzano's button raise and was called after a count was confirmed.

Jon Stanfield: AJ64
Alex Manzano: AK87

Somewhat similar hands, it appeared something like a flip when the board spread 1062. Stanfield caught a pair of sixes but the door was shut on him when the 9 turned, giving Manzano the nut straight, followed by a river that no longer mattered.
