Vuilleumier Bets Big on the River
Level 2
: 400/800, 0 ante
Alexandre Vuilleumier, champion of the $25,000 High Roller 6-Handed No-Limit Hold'em event last night, is back in action today and just took a big pot off Young Ko.
There was already around 70,000 in the middle as they headed to the river on a board of 9♠4♦10♣9♦A♦. Vuilleumier, in the big blind, led out for 42,000.
Ko used up one time bank and nearly let another 30 seconds elapse before he tossed his cards into the muck.
