Wasserson Makes a Tight Call
Level 24
: Blinds 1,000/2,500, 0 ante
Eric Wasserson bet 8,000 on a flop of 4♦7♥8♥ and Daemon Richardson called.
Both players checked the 9♣ turn before Richardson took the opportunity to lead out for 22,000 on the 8♠ river.
Wasserson argued that the dealer didn't give him enough time before he called the bet. "Very tight just call," he told Richardson, who opened up K♦10♥ for just king-high.
Wasserson turned over 10♣8♦ for trips to take down the pot.
