Winter Shoves on Jorstad

Level 8 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

Sean Winter limped in on the button and Espen Jorstad checked his option. The flop fell A92 and Jostad check-called a bet of 3,000 from Winter. The turn was the A and Jorstad checked again. Winter tossed in a bet of 9,000 and Jorstad still called.

The river was the J and Jorstad checked once more. Winter used a time bank before shoving all in and Jorstad was forced to let his hand go.

Next door, Jeremy Ausmus recently doubled up Kevin Rabichow and the match finished shortly after with Rabichow advancing.

Deeb Not So Lucky This Time

Level 8 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

A few hands after Shaun Deeb doubled up off Julien Martini, Martini put him all in again.

"Ace-deuce off again," Deeb asked before he stuck in his last 115,000.

Shaun Deeb: KJ
Julien Martini: AQ

The 723 flop didn't help Deeb, while the A on the turn left him drawing dead as Martini made top pair.

"Good luck, buddy," Deeb said as he got up to shake Martini's hand before the dealer turned over the inconsequential J river.

Winter Jams the River Forcing Jorstad to Fold

Level 7 : 1,000/2,500, 0 ante

Espen Jorstad limped in on the button. Sean Winters bumped up the bet to 7,500 and Jorstad called.

On a board of Q610 both players checked through to a turn and river that came the 4 and 8 respectively. One last check from Winter prompted Jorstad to try and steal this pot with a bet of 7,500. Winter however had other ideas as he check-raised to 75,000, more than enough to put Jorstad in for his last 37,000, who snapped folded.
