Dinner Time!

Level 16

The 26 remaining players have been sent on a 60-minute dinner break and will return at approximately 8:50 p.m. local time. They are scheduled to play four more levels tonight.

Glaser Finds a Double

Level 16

Limit Hold'em

Benny Glaser raised from the cutoff and was called by Motoyoshi Okamura in the big blind.

Okamura check-raised a bet from Glaser on the 477 flop and Glaser went all in for his remaining stack. Okamura called and hands were revealed.

Benny Glaser: Q7
Motoyoshi Okamura: 75

Both players flopped trip sevens, but Glaser was ahead with his queen kicker.

The 10 turn and 2 river kept Glaser ahead and he doubled up just before dinner break.

Motoyoshi Okamura: J99/9AJK
Benny Glaser: XxXx/44310/Xx
Joao Vieira: XxXx/7K - folded on fourth street

Catching up on fourth street, Benny Glaser bet and Motoyoshi Okamura raised. Joao Vieira folded and Glaser called.

Glaser raised a bet from Okamura on fifth street, which Okamura called. Okamura then called a bet on sixth and raised a bet from Glaser on seventh — sending Glaser deep into the tank.

Glaser eventually called and Okamura tabled J99 for nines-full of jacks. Glaser sent his hand into the muck and was left with just 75,000 following the hand.

At another table, Dzmitry Urbanovich busted.

Seiver Wheels in the Pot

Level 16

Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better

John Hennigan raised from the hijack before Scott Seiver tossed in a third bet from the button. Action folded to Hennigan, who made the call.

Hennigan check-called a bet from Seiver on the 4A10 flop before having his bet called on the 5 turn.

The 6 river brought a bet from Seiver, to which Hennigan called. "Wheel," said Seiver, showing AK32 to scoop the pot.

Ralph Perry was already all in from the small blind against Scott Seiver in the cutoff and Mike Matusow on the button.

Seiver checked to Matusow on the 3810 flop and he bet. Seiver then check-raised and Matusow let his hand go.

Ralph Perry: KJ
Scott Seiver: QQ

The 6 turn and 6 river failed to improve Perry and he was eliminated.

Becker completed before Barbero threw in a third bet. Wong then added a fourth bet. Zhu called all in for his last 10,000, with Becker and Barbero calling as well.

Zhu watched on fourth street as all three of his opponents tossed in one bet. Fifth street saw Becker bet, with Barbero and Wong making the call.

Sixth street saw Barbero check his pair of tens. Wong led out, and Becker and Barbero both came along.

Action was checked on seventh street. Barbero showed QJ4 and held a pair of tens. Wong turned over AJJ for a pair of jacks. Becker took down the large side pot with A63 for trip threes.

With the side pot settled, it was time for Zhu to turn over his cards. He revealed 998 for nines full of eights (full of twos), "I finally run good with one chip," Zhu said.
