Torres Sucks Up Some Chips

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

A player in early position raised to 50,000 before another middle-position player moved all in for 225,000. Louie Torres, on the button, then removed his Kirby figurine from atop his chips and reraised to 425,000, isolating the all-in player and leaving them heads-up.

All-In Player: AQ
Louie Torres: KK

Torres had to dodge a flush draw following the 599 flop, but his opponent missed the 7 turn and 7 river to hit the rail.

"Damn Kirby, sucking up some more," a tablemate said as Torres stacked the pot.

Hellmuth Bamboozles Lin

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Phil Hellmuth limped from the small blind and Ren Lin checked from the big blind.

The flop came A85 and Lin bet 25,000 and was check-raised to 100,000 from Hellmuth, which Lin called.

The K came on the turn and Hellmuth checked which confused Lin who let out a "Whaaaaaat!" as he checked. The 2 completed the board and Hellmuth bet 200,000. Lin called it off and saw the bad news as Hellmuth tabled 104 for the flush which left Lin bewildered.

Zamani Eliminates Sangannagari

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Martin Zamani
Martin Zamani

Action caught up to an all-in hand between Sridhar Sangannagari in late position and Maritn Zamani in the big blind, with Zamani check-raising all-in over Sangannagari's 100,000 flop bet on 10A9 and Sangannagari making the call.

Sridhar Sangannagari: A7
Martin Zamani: A9

Zamani's two pair would prove hard to overcome, but the K turn would open the door to some chop outs.

However, the 4 river secured the elimination and sent Sangannagari to the payout desk.

Song Runs Into a Cooler in Massive Pot

Level 22 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Heads-up in a blind versus blind battle and 320,000 already in the pot, Wan-Jhen Song bet 110,000 on a flop of 810A before David McGowan raised to 225,000.

Song called to the K turn, where McGowan tanked for a moment before announcing he was all in. Song, with around 650,000 remaining, then tanked for several minutes until the clock was called.

The floor began the countdown before Song put in a chip to signify a call. She showed AQ for top pair, but McGowan had 88 for a set.

Song was already drawing dead as the 2 fell on the river as McGowan raked in the massive pot.

Borland Doubles Through Vela, Vela Left Short

Level 23 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Michael Vela raised to 75,000 from early position and James Borland moved all-in from the button for roughly 250,000, with Vela making the call.

James Borland: KK
Michael Vela: A10

Vela wouldn't fair well on the J2J flop, but would find some life on the 10 turn.

However, the Q river would fail to connect with Vela's hand, securing the double for Borland.

Two All Ins, One Bustout

Level 23 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Gianluca Cedolia was all in for around 250,000 from the hijack and Jason James called in the big blind.

Gianluca Cedolia: QQ
Jason James: A8

Cedolia's queens stayed in front on the J21046 board as he doubled up.

At the same time at another table, Elijah Ruffin was all in with AQ against Kyriakos Papadopoulos, who had woken up with AA. Ruffin didn't catch any miracles on the 822KK board and Papadopoulos secured the pot to send him to the rail.
