Shefer Staying Alive
Level 7
: Blinds 1,200/2,400, 300 ante
Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better
Preflop action opened with Ariel Shefer limping in under the gun. The cutoff raised, with the big blind and Shefer both calling.
The flop came 6♠4♥K♥, and action was checked to the player in the cutoff who bet. Both the big blind and Shefer came along. All three players then checked the 4♦ turn.
A 4♣ hit the river, putting three fours on the board. The cutoff bet, and the big blind decided to call after looking at Shefer's now-very short stack. Shefer also made the call. The cutoff showed A♣5♠3♠2♦ and had missed his straight. Shefer turned over Q♥J♦10♣10♥ and took down the pot with fours full of tens.
