Pham Flushes

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

It was almost a four way pot when the player under the gun raised to 1,300 and the early position player called, the hijack called and the small blind, Jimmy Pham also called. The flop came K8J and the first three players checked and the hijack took a stab with a bet of 1,500 and Pham made the call from the small blind. This was followed by a raise for 6,200 from the player under the gun, a fold from the early position player and the hijack and a shove all in by Pham for 32,100. The player under the gun obliged and made the call.

Jimmy Pham: A5
Under the gun player: AK

The original raiser was ahead going to the turn which was the 2 and hit Pham for the nut flush and the river 3 was irrelevant. Pham received a nice chip boost.

Doncker Hits the King

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Veadiseav Doncker was in late position and made a raise to 1,200 and the button, Kyna England, called. The flop came out A34 and both players checked.

The turn did not bring any more excitement with the 6 as both players checked again.

The river K drew a bet of 1,600 from England after being checked to and Doncker called. England showed Q10 and Doncker had K10 for the pair of kings on the river.

England stated, "That is not an exciting enough hand to report."

It was worth the report to get Bulgaria on the map.

Also note that we have already smashed the record from last year's total players on Day 1b at 1,400 compared to 1,110 in 2022.
