Blom Applies Pressure

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Viktor Blom raised to 1,000 under the gun and was called by both players in the blinds.

It was checked to the big blind on the 574 flop, and he bet 1,200. Blom then raised to 4,800. The small blind folded and the big blind called.

The A fell on the turn and the big blind checked to Blom, who bet 8,600. This time his opponent folded and Blom took down the pot.

Two Barrels Take it for Seidel

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

A player opened to 1,000 from under the gun and was called by the cutoff. Erik Seidel then three-bet to 5,000 out of the small blind, getting a fold from the original raiser but a call from the cutoff.

Seidel continued for 3,500 on the A910 flop and the cutoff flatted.

There would be no slowing down for Seidel after the 3 hit the felt on the turn as he counted out a bet of 15,000. That was enough to convince his opponent to get out of the way to send the pot over to the nine-time bracelet winner.

The A completed the board and Hallaert fired a third time for 7,000 after the big blind checked. This time his opponent folded and Hallaert dragged the pot without a showdown.

Aitabdelmalek Gets Value

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Anatoly Filatov opened to 800 from under the gun and received calls from Rabah Aitabdelmalek in the cutoff as well as Gregory Jensen in the big blind.

Jensen checked on the 629 flop and Filatov continued for 600. Aitabdelmalek called while Jensen folded.

With action now heads up, Filatov slowed down following the 4 turn, checking to Aitabdelmalek, who fired off 2,000. With no hesitation, Filatov called.

The 9 river saw Filatov check again before calling after Aitabdelmalek bet 4,000. Aitabdelmalek turned over 77, good enough to take the pot from Filatov.

Juanda Ships it in

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

The player in the cutoff raised to 700 and John Juanda three-bet to 3,000 from the small blind. The player in the big blind called cold and the initial raiser folded.

Juanda shoved for a bit under 60,000 on the 9K5 flop, which got a smirk from his opponent. He thought a while before laying his hand down and mused, "Ace queen with a flush draw?" as Juanda collected the pot.

Ilani Turns a Wheel

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Jonathan Little opened to 600 from under the gun and was called by a player on the button as well as Ran Ilani in the big blind.

Action checked through the 93A flop to the 4 turn at which point Ilani checked for a second time. Little fired a delayed continuation of 2,000, getting a quick fold from the button. Ilani responded with a raise to 7,000 and, after some thought, Little called.

Ilani bet again once the 8 river completed the board, this time making it a hefty 12,000 to call. Little wasted no time tossing in a chip but mucked after Ilani tabled 52 for the wheel. "Come on, what a turn" lamented Little as he saw a large pot shipped to his opponent.
