Bauer Forces Fold

Level 14 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Preflop action began with the hijack raising to 8,000. Alain Bauer, the cutoff, made the call, as did the player in the big blind.

The 10A8 flop saw action checked to the hijack, who bet 6,000. Bauer was the only caller.

The 8 turn saw Bauer's opponent lead out for 12,000, which Bauer called.

The K river saw the hijack check. Bauer bet 65,000, which forced a fold.

Robert Willems, the small blind, was facing a raise to 8,000 from the cutoff. He reraised all in for 34,000. The player in the big blind then moved all in over the top, and the cutoff folded a face-up pair of threes.

Robert Willems: KK
Big Blind: JJ

Willems' kings held throughout the A2AA7 board, and he secured an all-important double up as the bubble approaches.

Carlos Scores Massive Double Up

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Action was joined with Jose Carlos all in from late position for 210,000. His opponent, the cutoff, had already raised to 27,000. After several moments, he made the call for the majority of his own stack.

Jose Carlos: AK

The Bubble Has Burst!

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

On the second hand of hand-for-hand play, Mitchell Hynan was all in preflop and received one call, from Mustapha Kanit.

Mitchell Hynan: JJ
Mustapha Kanit: K5

Hynan went in ahead but the board ran out 2K972 and brought his tournament to a close. He will not be going home empty-handed, though.

A player was all in on another table for his last 2,000 while satisfying the big blind. The cutoff bet 10,000, and Kenny Hallaert made the call from the small blind.

The flop came 372, and both Hallaert and the cutoff checked. They did the same on the 4 turn.

The 3 arrived on the river, and Hallaert began to bet before the cutoff folded. He turned over A8, which was good enough to beat the big blind's K9 and eliminate him.

The two eliminated players will split the minimum cash of $1,603, which is the amount that all remaining players are entitled to for making the money.
