A Set is Good for McDaniel
Level 2
: Blinds 200/300, 300 ante
Three players saw a flop of 10♣7♠8♦ and action was checked around.
The turn came 2♥. It was checked to the hijack, who bet 2,600 and Patrick McDaniel, in middle position, called.
The river fell 5♦. McDaniel tabled 8♠8♥ and on a board with plenty of possible straights, it was good enough to take the pot.
