Martini Puts Himself in Contention for the Lead
Level 5
: Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Julien Martini was heads-up in a pot with around 60,000 in the middle and the board reading 4♣2♥2♣6♠. Martini checked from the small blind and his opponent checked it back in the cutoff.
The river brought the Q♣ and Martini led out with a bet of 35,000. His opponent went into the tank for a couple of minutes before finally folding.
"Show one card?" his opponent asked. Martini responded with a 'zero' hand gesture.
