Edward Tan limped in the small blind before Scott Hempel checked his option in the big blind.
Tan checked on the 2♦8♣K♦ flop and then called after Hempel led out for 800.
Action checked through the 2♥ turn to the Q♥ river at which point Tan announced a bet of 1,200. Hempel wasted little time in folding to keep Tan, a WSOP circuit ring winner, chipping up.
