Bergeron's River Bet Gets it Done

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Takuma Bergeron raised 2,000 in early position and he was called by the hijack, Scott Hempel on the button, the small blind and Benjamin Gross in the big blind.

When the flop came K95, the blinds checked to Bergeron who continued for 3,000. Only Hempel made the call.

The J hit the turn and both players checked.

When the 6 landed on the river, Bergeron dropped two red chips across the line while announcing a bet of 9,500.

Hempel went wide-eyed as he stared at Bergeron and tanked for about two minutes before surrendering the pot.
