Morfitt Gets Maximum Value
Level 7
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Picking up the action on the flop, Matthew Morfitt in the small blind was involved in a hand with Alexandra Botez in late position as well as Aiki Yoshida on the button. With the board reading 4♥K♠6♥ action checked through to the 8♠ turn at which point Morfitt moved all in for 18,700. Botez did not take long before folding while Yoshida instantly called to put Morfitt at risk.
Matthew Morfitt: 6♠6♣
Aiki Yoshida: A♣A♥
Morfitt had outflopped the rockets of Yoshida to put himself in an excellent position to score the full double. That is exactly what happened after the 10♥ river completed the board to deal another unfortunate blow to Yoshida.
