Nolet Raises River
Level 8
: Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Picking up the action on the river, Guillaume Nolet on the button was involved in a hand with a player in late position. With the board reading 4♦10♠9♠2♦3♦ the late position player led out for 7,000. Nolet responded by raising to 25,000 and his opponent quickly called, tabling 9♣9♦. The set of nines was no good as Nolet held A♦K♦ for the second nuts to take down a sizable pot.
