Pollak Shoves
Level 8
: Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
A player in middle position opened to 2,500 and was called by Kevin Pollak on the button and the player in the big blind.
Action checked to Pollak on the 5♠10♦J♥ flop and he bet 5,000. Only the initial raiser called.
The 4♦ came on the turn and Pollak's opponent checked again. This time Pollak announced he was all in for 17,400 total and his opponent folded after a bit of thought.
The American actor hasn't had the best start, but he still has 34,000 to work with as Day 2d rolls on.
