James Borland opened to 5,000 from under the gun and was called by the player directly behind him, the player in the small blind, and Conrad Simpson in the big blind.
Everyone checked on the 3♠7♠6♣ flop and the small blind checked to Simpson again on the 9♥ turn. Simpson fired 12,000 into the middle and only Borland called.
The Q♥ filled the river and Simpson bet 18,500. Borland folded after a bit of thought and Simpson took down the pot.
