Deeb Takes a Hit
Level 11
: Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Shaun Deeb opened to 5,000 from middle position and received calls from Rhian Fineis in the cutoff and a player in the big blind.
Deeb made a continuation bet for 6,500 on the A♣8♥7♣ flop. Fineis raised to 15,500, forcing the big blind out of the hand. Deeb made the call.
The turn was the 9♦. Deeb checked, Fineis bet 28,000 and Deeb made the call.
Both players checked the 8♦ river. Deeb tabled 10♣9♥ for a pair of nines and a missed straight draw while Fineis showed down A♦10♠ for top pair to take the pot.
