: Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Sam Stein opened to 5,500 from the hijack and was called by Barry Shulman in the cutoff.
Stein bet 7,000 on the J♦5♥7♣ flop and Shulman raised to 17,000. Stein called.
The 6♦ fell on the turn and Stein checked to Shulman, who bet 34,000. Stein then shoved for his remaining stack and Shulman called to put Stein at risk.
Sam Stein: 7♠7♥
Barry Shulman: A♣A♠
Stein had flopped a set and was in great shape to double up against Shulman's aces.
The 5♠ river was of no help to Shulman and Stein doubled up while leaving Shulman short.
