Baumann Eliminated by Wisbrod
Level 12
: Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Gaelle Baumann open jammed from the cutoff for her last 34,000. Barak Wisbrod on the button called and the hand went to a showdown.
Gaelle Baumann: 8♥8♠
Barak Wisbrod: A♣10♦
Although ahead, Baumann was in worse shape than she imagined as the small blind announced they too folded pocket eights.
The board ran out 2♦4♣A♦J♠A♥ which was enough to send Baumann to the rail.
