Lefferts bet 40,000 chips on the 5♦J♣8♥ flop and Obst made the call. On the 8♦ turn, Lefferts upped the ante to 105,000 and Obst once again matched the bet.
The river then fell the 9♠ and Lefferts once again increased his sizing, this time to 230,000. It was enough to let Obst let his hand go, and Lefferts overtook Obst in chips before the table broke not much later.
