Payne Makes Huge Hero Call Against Torres
Level 29
: Blinds 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante
Heads-up on a board of 6♣Q♠8♠J♦, Sergio Torres bet 1,500,000 from middle position and Joshua Payne called in the small blind.
The river came the 10♠ and Payne checked over to Torres, who slid forward a tower of purple 100,000 chips for a bet of 2,500,000.
"Ace-ten, queen-ten," Payne muttered to himself as he tanked for a few minutes. He eventually called and Torres shook his head and flashed the 10♣.
Payne turned over A♣J♣ for a pair of jacks as he raked in the massive pot to climb up to 30,000,000.
