Richard Bai from Chicago was in the small blind when the player in the hijack position put in a raise for 800. The button, Bai and the big blind all came along for the ride. The flop was 8♠A♠8♥ and the whole group checked.
The 4♠ action card was checked to the hijack, who made a delayed continuation-bet of 1,200 and only Bai made the call.
Both players checked the river 7♣ and the hijack turned over J♠J♦ and Bai turned over Q♣Q♠ for the better pair.
The hijack stated, "Phew, I am glad that ace came."
