Ivey Takes Two From Bai
Level 16
Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better
Richard Bai and Phil Ivey were heads up on the 5♦6♣3♣ flop. Ivey checked and Bai made a bet of 18,000, which Ivey called.
Both players then checked the J♦ flop before Ivey bet 75,000 on the 2♦ river, forcing Bai to fold his hand.
The next hand, Bai raised to 12,000 under the gun and Ivey defended his big blind. Ivey check-called another 12,000 from Bai on the 6♥5♦4♥ flop before the pair checked through the 9♦ turn and A♣ river.
Ivey tabled A♦10♦7♥4♦ and was awarded the full pot with hiss two pair and low.
