Kornuth Shows Aggression in Small Blind

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

A player on the cutoff raised to 900, which a player on the button called.

Action fell on three-time WSOP bracelet winner Chance Kornuth, who apparently had other ideas instead of flatting in the small blind.

Kornuth reached down into his chip stack and three-bet to 3,500, which prompted the player in the big blind and original raiser to fold. The player on the button, though, elected to make the call.

The dealer fanned 210K on the flop, and Kornuth continued with aggression by leading out with a 3,600 bet. His opponent looked at the board, and then folded.

Three-way action went to a flop of 2A6. Maxime Chilaud tossed out 1,000 from under the gun, Jonathan Little called in the cutoff and Aliaksandr Shylko also called in the big blind.

The turn was the 5. Chilaud continued with another bet for 3,800 which both opponents called again after a bit of thought from each.

The river came the K. Chilaud checked this time which opened the door for Little to bet 12,000. Shylko thought for about 30 seconds before he folded, while Chilaud did so instantly to send Little the pot.
